Searching the admin console

The search field in the header of the web client (shown to administrators) finds:

  • Pages and settings by name, for example "Park code", "Retention" or "Two-factor sign-in". Choose a result to open the page the setting lives on.
  • Settings that moved, by their old name. Searching "Fail2ban" or "Time conditions" shows where the setting lives now. Opening the result (or an old address) shows a short note on the new page. A moved setting stays findable for one major version.
  • Your objects: users, extensions, devices, trunks, DIDs, ring groups, queues and IVR menus. You only see what your role may read, and only in your own company.
  • Help: for pages and settings with a page in this documentation, a "Help" result opens it in a new tab.

Press Ctrl+K (Cmd+K on a Mac) or / to jump to the search, the arrow keys to move through the results, Enter to open one and Esc to close the list.

Pages that have a page in this documentation also show a Documentation link at the top.

For installs with more than 1000 objects of one kind, object search covers the first 1000.
